Krier's Cards & Comics started out in the Vintage Faire Mall in Modesto more than 15 years ago.  We quickly outgrew that space and moved to a more spacious site in the Wood Colony Plaza on the corner of Pelandale Ave. and Sisk Rd.  In the new site, we were able to add gaming tables and expand our stock.

We regularly run all kinds of tournaments on a weekly basis and host special release events several times throughout the year. We have seating for more than 80 players and have some of the best ranked tournament players in our area.

Krier’s hosts tournaments for Wizards of the Coast, Upper Deck, Nintendo, Games Workshop and several others. We carry a full line of Magic, Yu-gi-oh, Naruto, Pokemon, World of Warcraft, VS, Hero Clix, and Battlestar Galactica.  We also carry Star Wars and D&D miniatures, Games Workshop products, D&D books, and much, much more.

We carry all comics, collectors’ magazines and books, as well as a huge selection of manga and sports cards & memorabilia.  Krier’s also carries statues, collectibles, toys, and action figures from manufacturers including Sideshow, Gentle Giant, and Tonner Doll Co., amongst others. We have a huge selection of vintage and current Star Wars toys and collectibles, non-sport cards (both vintage and current), strategy games, board games, and a large selection of d20 books and players’ dice. We order products from all major companies and are always happy to special order items for our customers.

Krier’s also offers a huge selection of supplies for all your protection and storage needs and a vast variety of deck protectors and deck boxes in all colors, sizes, and designs.

When we host an event, we try to make our players feel as welcome as possible and create a family friendly environment. Krier’s even carries snacks and beverages and allows players to bring food from the fast food restaurants around the area for those long tournament events.

From south of Modesto:

Take 99 North.  Exit Pelandale, and turn right.  Cross the intersection at Sisk Road, and enter the Wood Colony Plaza just after the In-N-Out Burger.  We are located two doors to the right of Savemart.

From north of Modesto:

Take 99 South.  Exit Pelandale, and turn left.  Cross the intersection at Sisk Road, and enter the Wood Colony Plaza just after the In-N-Out Burger.  We are located two doors to the right of Savemart.

From the Oakdale/Riverbank area:

Take Hwy. 108 toward Modesto.  Continue south on McHenry Ave. to Pelandale Ave.  Turn right at Pelandale and continue to Sisk Road.  Turn left on Sisk, and make an immediate left into the Wood Colony Plaza, near the Rite Aid.  We are located two doors to the right of Savemart.
